Big Canvas Sale!

The Machine - By Myke Amend, available as a gicleeWhy??  Well… I was going through and testing my cart, and found that the price for giclees on canvas did not auto-update inline when selecting canvas stretching mounting options.

I also realized that about the time I started offering these options, I started selling the things a lot less often.

Maybe it was too confusing, maybe too many options makes it harder to choose, maybe it was the price difference from page to shopping cart, or all of the above – but since I was editing all of these, I decided it would be a good time to make a sale of some sort, and to make it big.

So, here it is – All giclees are priced drastically below normal, and the shipping fees that *should* be there $30 in shipping for most, are not there at all… yep.. $5 flat rate shipping on all orders.

All giclees are printed in Archival pigment inks on archival canvas, and protected by a UV-resistant coating for an estimated archival rating of $200+ years.

These beautiful and super-accurate reproductions are pretty much indistinguishable from the original paintings, and most are limited to 50 or less… that means that out of 60-some billion people, only 50 will own a print – ever.

These come with certificates of authenticity, printed on Hahnemuhle fine art paper, signed and numbered by me, with matching serialized holograms affixed to the certificate and the back of the canvas, to protect the value of your investment, and because they are shiny.

I put them all nice and neatly into one section, the “Canvas Sale” Section, here: https://mykeamend.com/products-page/canvas-sale/

November Sale

Winter is on its way, and in order to make our Holidays better, yours and mine, I am holding a big November Sale.

Giclees are the main thing on sale this month – some of which there are less than 15 of remaining, ever, out of 50 that will be out there in the world, ever.

Beth and I would like to get into our apartment before winter hits, which will require a new electrical box, having the stove connected, and a lot of work and investment all the way around. Help us towards this goal, and help yourself to prints at the lowest prices we can ever offer.

Now is your best chance this year, perhaps ever, to get these prints for yourself, friends, or family. Not only are the prices incredibly low, but reserves being what they are, some of these may be gone completely by the month’s end.

I’ve organized a section in the store for this sale, click here, or look for “November Sale” in the store categories (lower right side of this page).

New Pricing, New Price-Saving Options on Giclees

Summary (for those who want just the details without the explanations):

1) There is now an option to buy giclees unstretched and unmounted.
2) Shipping on these items has been greatly reduced as a result.
3) Gallery mounted giclees (no need for frames) are now available.

~~ For people who want them before they are all gone, but do not have the money for a stretched and mounted piece (or the related higher shipping cost), you can now get giclees unstretched.

You can have them stretched and mounted at Hobby Lobby or similar stores for $20 to $30 at a later date, or do it on your own for about $10 in stretcher bars.

~~ For people interested in stretched giclees, but the cost of framing is an issue, I have now also made gallery mounting available (elegantly thick sides for wall hanging without frames).

Note – my standard stretching and mounting is done with stapling in back and tight folds… something loosely defined as “gallery wrapping” (but actually a side wrap or museum wrap), and also something that some might see as “ready to hang”.

My “Gallery Mounting” is done with custom-made stretcher bars, and the supporting box frame can be made 2 inches thick (or more).

For super-custom display, I can also make these deeper and/or hinged with shelves or other storage inside. I can even make them for recessed setting if you have some construction know-how … but to avoid the freakish chance of being backlogged with multiple unexpected orders, those are on a person by person basis.

Spooky Smile Mini Trio and Grand Re-opening 10% off

I’ve been working away 30 to 40 hour days to get my store up and running again and completely restocked. I can say that now, aside from t-shirts, comics, and a few other such things which really do not sell much at this venue anyway, everything current is stocked and I am good to go.

I am kicking this off by issuing a 10-percent off coupon. Use it as many times as you would like to through June 20th, share it with others. The coupon code is mxlplk just keep in mind that because of the way my cart handles coupons, the items will not be itemized in your paypal payment, just a total. Your purchase will however be recorded in the store, and in the email confirmation you receive from the store. So, don’t worry – I’ll know what you ordered.

There are also many new items available, as well as many old items which were never available before.

One of the most note-worthy new additions is a trio from a small series of small paintings called “smile”. The original paintings of the girl-thing, creepy plant, and psycho robot are not up for sale in the store
