You really have to listen to this

Magenta, the real Magenta, not that pop whatthef^ckever, just finished their new album and put new songs up – just minutes ago.

You may remember them from some of the better gothic collections – not those samplers where everyone sounded like Black Tape for a Blue Girl, not those samplers from the mall store with the fat pants, but actual gothic music compilations such as The Black Bible and Unquiet Grave Vol.1.

They are an amazing band with a beyond fantastic sound. You really, really should give them a listen:

Full Frontal Consumption

Excellent work. Never have I been so engrossed in watching bearded people eat.

The filming of this piece was so incredibly good, and so well-synched with the music that you could have put any subject matter in there and it would be fascinating.

“I couldn’t decide if what I created was a music video or a
short film”
, says T. Bias, frontman of the new incarnation of Batcave Brit band Specimen about this latest work, which I believe is the perfect formula for such a striking, viral, and memorable music video.

“If I can get enough interest, I may be able to make more films,
if I can get a hold of more video gear. I have more ideas…”,
he adds.

Well, I would love to see him get more interest, and do more things like these, and especialy if it encourages him to do more with his audio.

You *Can* view this video below, but I highly recommend viewing it in higher resolution HD at 720 dpi wide by clicking here. Doing so will support his efforts, and lend much-deserved incentive to do more these sort of projects.

New Site for SGWBM

I am revamping the page for Some Ghouls Wander by Mistake. So, if you were linked to the old preview, you may want to update your links.

If you have not yet been there, it is a dark comedy project, and a rather insane one at that. If you haven’t been offended in the past by South Park, JHTM, or Lenore …or if you like being offended, it might be something you’d like.

Please take the time to check it out, and please share the link with others. I am doing this myself without a publisher or any commercial marketing behind me – my online friends *are* my marketing, and I could use your help.

You thought ultra-violet was invisible?

“We shall see that at which dogs howl in the dark, and that at which cats prick up their ears after midnight. We shall see these things, and other things which no breathing creature has yet seen. We shall overleap time, space, and dimensions, and without bodily motion peer to the bottom of creation!”

Slow or dormant pineal gland? Unable to see Ultraviolet? Ever wonder what is out there in the ether swimming about your head, crawling on your dinner plate?

The Resonator is guaranteed to solve these and other problems!

… Unfortunately, due to a recent accident, the actual resonator itself is currently unavailable.

Quality metallic luster coated prints commemorating its first use, however, are available. These 5×7 prints have an archival rating of 200+ years, and are printed the same size as the original engraving by Myke Amend, on heavy metallic stock, in quality archival pigment inks, with a UV-resistant and scratch resistant coating!

Order yours now!… wait! Stand still for just a moment, I urge you! Okay, it has passed on to the other room. Okay, Order yours now, before it comes back!

20,000 Leagues Under

20000 Leagues

This fine engraving depicts a rather Lovecraftian creature of the deep embracing a submersible craft, much like the Nautilus of Jules Verne’s 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

Atop the oceanic mountain in the far background rests an ancient and forgotten temple, marked at its entrance by the sigil of Dagon.

Though small, these engravings are so incredibly detailed, that no web image could ever do them justice. Rest assured, this is a very fine piece of work, and very skillfully crafted.Properly matted and framed, it would make an excellent addition to any space.

The original as well as enlarged metallic prints of this piece, are available in my store – standard sized prints (mini prints) are available at Ettadiem.Etsy.com
