The thing with this blog is that since I built it years ago, it is not all snazzy super-tech like I would like it to be – so the first comment made by anyone has to be approved (but only the first).
It is one of many things that helps to prevent spam. I’ll make a captcha and Akismet based solution sooner or later… probably about the same time I get rid of the 404 iframe under “Sponsored by”
Somehow, we’ve gotten on a pile of mailing lists for BUDK and other purveyors of edged weapons, fantasy gear, etc. Flipping through them is a great sine wave between “Want that!” and “Ew!!!” I’ve decided that any catalog not selling the Toilet Monster isn’t worth reading.
There was a place in KY where I was able to buy swords and knives and other such collectibles for about 1/6th retail. Now that I am really looking for things to stock the miskatonic archiv e with… it would be nice to be there again. I have another place in Chicago that sells jewelry that I need to visit eventually.
Sadly, I don’t think either have toilet monsters.
